Description
The whole tour will be accompanied by two expert guides. We will drive our off-road vehicles by ourselves and explore the country from north to south on a journey along the stunning coastal route. We will camp on the shore of the Arabian sea, under the starry sky, and among the silky dunes of the great Rub al Khali desert. We will see the giant green turtles and schools of dolphins. Visiting remote villages, we will seat with the local women in their private “majlis”. We will have our hands and feet decorated with temporary henna tattoos, just as all Arab women do when they want to celebrate their happiness. Route
The route goes from the modern capital Muscat to the ancient city of Salalah, along the most spectacular coastal road on the shore of the Arabian Sea. A travel that takes you across the many contrasts that Oman has to offer.
